Since I assume that not all of us are from the US, I make this thread so that we can compare our cultures to see what is similar and what is different.
I am from the US (don't give out exact coordinates, towns, cities, states, etc. Not that any of you good little children would XD ;D )
Ask me a question or something...get this thread going.
(PS Even if we are all from the US, which we aren't, different parts of the US have different cultures...)

That is a very, very broad question.
What part of America?

Where you live.

Well, I live in a small Hamlet named after a Greek Mythological creature for some reason. There is a population of less than 200 people. Looking out my window you will see pine trees and rolling, green hills. In the distance there are lines of trees and, behind them, are huge mountains that rise against the horizon. We often have lots of wind, large green fields, and clear blue skies.
How about where you're from?

I look out of my window and see the tiny garden/yard and the other rows of houses as far as the eye can see, with a few trees.

Well it is OK I guess. Lots of children. Clacton is right by the coast so we have a lot of old people and holiday makers. It is quite busy and the weather is usually crap. There are a few fields and a lot of hotels/flats. We have a busy town with not much to do. Sometimes I wish I could be somewhere like where you are. I wish I could look out of my window and see mountains.

No mountains in England? I like where I live, but I want to see the world. I want to walk in a desert...walk in a jungle....
But having mountains five minutes away isn't bad either >.>

There are some mountains in Scotland and Wales. Maybe some in Ireland but I don't think England has any mountains. It might do but I don't know.

Do you have an American Channel? Like we have BBC, do you have one of those for America?
