Here's a little dictionary of Gods, Goddesses, and other strange ideas in the Mythology of Yautja.
Gods, goddesses and supernatural stuff:
Bhu’ja- Ghost.
Cetanu- God of death, the Black Warrior, the Destroyer. Chief of the gods. Two fold deity. Benevolent aspect is a huge, black, cloaked, gold-eyed Yautja. As the Destroyer he is four-armed, spiky and has over-sized claws and six tusks. As Cetanu he welcomes souls to the Other World, as the Destroyer he tortures and consumes them. Symbol is a six-pointed, simple star. Also symbol of the Arbitrators.
Dto-hult’ah- God of agriculture, the earth and calmer emotions such as patience, devotion and contentment and also the patron god of visual arts such as carving and painting. Dto-hult’ah appears as a Yautja clad in a kilt and bandolier. Vines curl through his deadlocks and wind about his arms. He is mate to Kayana and father of the Horde. Symbol is a leaf and twist of vine.
Guan Nrak’ytara- Goddess of dreams, air, change and sudden inspiration. Started mortal and brought the secrets of fire, medicine and weapons to the primitive Yautja after completing three god-given tasks. Appears as a Female Yautja in flowing, airy robes and feathery wings. She is mated to a demon. Symbol is wisp of wind.
Ju’dha-sain’ja- God of water, the flood and time. Appears as a Yautja clad in stylized robe of shining scales. He has long, flowing fins growing from his back and webbed fingers. Dreadlocks constantly drip water. Symbol is a wave.
Kayana- Goddess of war, fire, passionate emotions such as rage, love and obsession and also the patron goddess of dance and music. Appears as a Female Yautja clad in only loincloth and short top, sometimes naked, always enveloped in fire. Mother to the Horde and daughter of Cetanu and Lil-ka. Symbol is a curl of flame.
Lil-ka- Goddess of life, the Mother, the Avenger. Chief goddess. Two fold deity. Benevolent aspect is motherly and beautiful, clad in heavy, elegant robes; description differs between Yautja. As the Avenger, she is clad in armor. The Avenger hunts down those who violate life and laws and drags them off for punishment. Symbol is a circle.
Mab’ii’tang- Immortal hero punished by the gods for demanding that which was not his to demand.
Mara’khen- God of storms and craftsmen. Least demonic first child of Kayana and Dto-hult’ah. He has four arms ending with Kainde Amedha hands. Each holds a different weapon or tool. Symbol is a sword.
The Horde- Kayana’s demonic, twisted children, numbering in the thousands. The stuff of nightmares. They often serve Cetanu and Lil-ka when they bring justice to those that have violated laws. Occasionally they break free to cause problems. They often spy for Kayana. Many roam the physical world telling tales and meddling in the affairs of mortals.
