I like wolfs. are wolfs my spirit guide? also wow this topic is long lol Well. I can't really say for sure. Mostly because I don't know your life at all. Besides. It isn't up to me as to who's your Spirit Totem. It's what you must learn. The Wolf teaches great leadership, bravery, and controllable aggresion. If you do not have these qualities, then Wolf MIGHT be your Totem (MIGHT) because you must learn them. Or perhaps you do not need these qualities, not making the Wolf your main totem. But again, it's not up to me as to what your OR my Totem is. I learned more about my possible Totem, the Dog, mainly through Nature walks and occaisonally meditation ...... and through a Native American Shaman book ..... Interesting fact: The Celtic Druids have a surprisingly similair belief as Native American Shamans.

I was reading 1000 Symbols and they had Celtic beliefs and Native American beliefs. They were interesting.

I'd bet my spirit guide is a cat but then again there's no way for me to find out what my spirit guide is so I picture Him/Her as a cat anyway.

To Aliensetta: Perhaps it's the cat totem. Again, you must find out for yourself as to what your totem is. Here's a description on the Cat Totem: Magic, independence, clever, unpredictable, balance of energies and actions in life, mysteries will unfold in life if a cat has come around. Cat shows how to clarify perceptions which allows new ideas to manifest, encourages mental and emotional agility, aids in being resourceful and stealthy tactics, teaches courage and confidence. Do you need to be more independent? Are you using your resources the best of your ability? Is it time to start a new project? Cat will show how to continue the process of opening your intuition for soul growth If you need to learn/are trying to learn these qualities, you might have the Cat Totem. Or perhaps you don't need these qualities and you have a different Totem. It's not for me to say.
To Cetanu: Well .... here's what's about Totems and Spirits ..... Nature is ALWAYS constantly teaching people. You may have a single Totem, but you're always taught by other needed spirits as well.

Well ..... I had to give my dog, Larry, away back to his home (My uncle's farm). I'll be getting him back, but the problem is he constantly runs away from home when the front door's open.
I will miss my teacher. But somehow, it seems as though itself is a lesson.
From up close or from miles away, friends are always with you. A lesson that everybody seems to hold.

So could a spirit guide be some awkward animal that just appears out of nowhere? Lately there's been this crow......
And my new cat looks at me strangely, his eyes are creeeeeepy. >.>

Crows and Cats have similair teachings. I'm pretty bored here lately, so you can look up the Totemic Magic of them yourself. All I know is that Crows and Cats both have something to do with the Earth that is not Earth.
